Based on a scene from the fanfiction "Fallout Equestria: Finding Rainbow Dash, Part Two: The Arrival"

I'm curious why the crystal empire went from what looked like a land of eternal winter to summer and sunshine, yet in the past it's depicted as dead and barren. In this it seems to have reverted back to the wintery status.

I couldn't tell what the edges of the passage leading to the throne was supposed to be, so I took a chance and assumed it was silver, which is why it's blackened from oxidization. The throne itself looks more like it would match Chryssi though, I wonder if it was designed that way as a sort of reminder.
